Single Again

I am rather sad as I find myself single again. I'm a bit shocked of the reality, as I know some others are too. I have nothing negative to say about him. We merely wanted different things. I desire to be married and have a family with everything that I am. My heart aches for it. He's not on the same timeline as me. And when it comes to that, nothing else matters.

I very ardently know what I want and have known this for years. I think he still needs some time to experience his life before bringing someone else into it. Some might say that true love would wait. I do very much love him, but turning 27 this year and knowing myself so well, it would be cheating myself to settle for anything less than what I need. Nate simply said, I'm not the right guy for you.

I don't want to speculate too much or put words in his mouth when he has no defense in this forum. We are both heart broken and the only one I wish to speak with is him. That is not helpful and I find it difficult to resist the urge.

I wish he could have been with me when I become a licensed CPA. He's been there through most of that struggle and stood by me when he could have easily left. We talked often about what it would be like when I got done. That time has come and he's not here with me. I feel sad about that.

London Theatre Tickets

I scored very coveted, very hard-to-get tickets to the theatre play, Book of Mormon, playing at the Prince of Wales Theatre in London. This is a fabulous theatre, where I saw Mamma Mia! five years ago.

Here is a brief trailer:

"Mormons are happy people so you're going to get a happy musical."

I do not believe this show is aimed at poking fun of Mormons. I have read reviews where it is a satire of all organized religion and the institutionalization of the Church itself. It will be interesting what my take-away is from it. I have heard it is hilarous and brilliant. I cannot wait!

The West End in London is known for it's incredible theatre culture. I have also booked tickets to see an Oscar-winning acress, Helen Mirren, starring in The Audience. If you have seen her in "The Queen" the movie, it is similar to the film. It is a different storyline entirely, but Mirren plays the Queen on stage and interacts with several of her Prime Ministers in what is called a weekly 'private audience' (weekly meeting).

These meetings actually happen between the Queen and Prime Minister each week, but they are undocumented and strictly unspoken about. It is a time for the two leaders to speak politically, personally, and off the record. No one truly knows what is discussed during these meetings and the writer of the play has created the story based on his own imagination.
